The surface treated with Osmo Polyx oil wax remains particularly strong and durable, water and dirt repellent. The surface resists stains from wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, juices, milk and other liquids. Dirt can be removed without trace. Renovation, even partial, is easy. Simply clean and re-treat the surface with oil. No need to sand or remove old oil wax. The durability of floors treated with Osmo oil wax exceeds that of conventional parquet varnishes and waxes.

Osmo Polyx Oil Wax is based on vegetable oils and waxes. The treated surface will not crack, peel or peel. It is also suitable for treating surfaces in rooms with high humidity.

Polyx® Oil Wax Original provides a dirt and water repellent, strong and abrasion-resistant, smooth surface finish. Compared to conventional finishes, the vegetable ingredients create a more uniform and harmonious appearance. Easy to apply, no priming or sanding required - saving time and money. The dry finish is safe for humans, animals and plants and is also suitable for finishing children's toys in accordance with EU standard EN 71.3. Saliva and sweat resistant (DIN 53160).

Osmo Polyx® Oil Wax Original is ready for use. Do not dilute, mix thoroughly. The surface must be clean, dry. Fill small scratches and holes with wood foam. Apply only to surfaces not susceptible to freezing. Clean or sand gently the previously treated surface. Remove old varnish. If necessary, use sandpaper - 120-150 for floors and 180-240 for furniture. Remove dust. The result of Polyx® Oil Wax Original is influenced by, among other things, the natural character of the wood. It is therefore advisable to test the product on the edges before application, especially on unfamiliar surfaces.

PARTICIPATION
Apply a thin, even coat to a clean, dry wood surface, rubbing along the grain using an Osmo natural bristle brush, floor brush or microfiber roller. Allow to dry for 8 hours, ensuring good ventilation. Apply the second coat in the same way, evenly and thinly. One coat is sufficient to renovate already oiled surfaces. Apply to a clean dry surface.

CLEANING TOOLS
Clean tools with Osmo cleaner (8000) or white spirit.

DRY SEA
Drying time approximately 8-10 hours (23°C/50% humidity). Lower temperatures and/or higher humidity will increase the drying time. Ensure good ventilation during drying. Complete and thorough curing will take 2-3 weeks. If possible, do not cover surfaces with carpets beforehand.

The cost of the product depends largely on the type of wood. All information is given for smooth and planed/sanded surfaces. Depending on the type of wood and its natural characteristics, the final results may vary.

COMPOSITIONS
50-60% high solids materials Base: natural vegetable oils and waxes (sunflower oil, soybean oil, linseed oil, carnauba and candelilla wax), paraffins. Additives: silicate (desiccant), water repellent agents Solvents: unscented white spirit (benzene-free). The product complies with the EU Regulation (2004/42/EU) max. water solvent. VOC content 500gr/l (Cat A/i (2010)).

CARE
The product can be stored for 5 years or longer if the jar is tightly and securely closed. Once frozen, the product will reach its consistency at room temperature within 24-36 hours.

WARNING
Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. When seeking medical advice, take the product container or label with you. Contains 2-butanone oxime which may cause an allergic reaction. Dispose of liquid waste in accordance with local legislation. NOTE: Immediately wash impregnated cloths or store in an airtight container (Risk of spontaneous combustion!). Dry finish in accordance with German DIN 4102 (fire behaviour of building materials and their components) and Class B 2 (normal non-combustibility) certificates. Ask for the safety card separately.

WASTE TREATMENT
Dispose of liquid waste in compliance with local legislation. Empty and dry containers can be recycled.
